I basically just re-made the cover as I would've liked it. This was my Katniss, notice the broach :)

I couldn't choose between all my close friends who might be a best friend, so I went with my puppy!

Real quick, I'm sorry I am so behind! I am trying to get straight A's this summer and it seems my challenge took a back seat :( I haven't given up, though! I've done a few of them so far, I just need to be diligent. Thank you for your continued patience! <3

Day 3: Favorite Food

You probably could have guessed this based on my first drawing. I mean, I love ice cream. Love it. Of the seven deadly sins, mine is gluttony... for ice cream. It's a wonder I don't weigh 200lbs by now based on how much ice cream I eat regularly. Anyways. I was kind of stuck on what to do with this drawing to make it interesting... in the end... it wasn't interesting. What would've you tried? Maybe I should add a... frog? /sigh

Day 2: Favorite Animal

 

I know this is a day late, but it's done, right?

Dolphins- I've always loved dolphins. They are such intelligent creatures, it's obvious if you've ever had the pleasure of meeting one. Odd creatures too, I can understand why old sailors mistook them for various mythical beings. 

For this one I played with the markers I could find lying around. In retrospect I failed at the dark gray markers but I like what I did up in the top left with the water. It's a start, at least. Markers are something I've only dabbled in but the results here were... ok. I still need to work more at it, it seems. I had the upper hand here, however because I've been drawing dolphins since 6th grade obsessively. Let's just keep that between you and me.
